Havanautos Rental Terms and Conditions:

The minimum rental period is 3 days. All cars are rented by category and Havanautos reserves the right to substitute a different model. All rates are per day and do not include a security deposit, gasoline, and mandatory insurance which are paid locally in CUC before picking up the vehicle. Insurance is 350 CUC deductible.

Canadian accident insurance is not accepted in Cuba. Insurance covers car fire, accidents damages to third parties, total theft, partial theft, natural catastrophies, collision and overturn. Drop off charges and traffic fines are paid locally in CUC. The minimal rental age is 21. A supplement is charged locally for additional drivers and drivers under 25. The vehical may be returned to another rental location at extra cost.

Seasonality is based on the date rental begins.

An extra day will be charged if your drop off time is later in the day than the time that you are picking the car up.

There is a one time charge of 20 CUC (to be paid locally) for all rentals commencing at a Cuban airport. Client will pay for a full tank of gas. No refund will be given for cars which are not returned with an empty tank.

VIA RENT-A-CAR TERMS OF RENTAL:

Unlimited kilometers requires minimum 3 day rental.

There is a one time charge of 20 CUC (to be paid locally) for all rentals commencing at a Cuban airport. Client will pay for a full tank of gas. No refund will be given for cars which are not returned with an empty tank

Minimum age of main driver 21 years. In order to rent the Peugeot 406 or Huyndai Santa Fe or Isuzu Trooper the minimum age is 25 years with a minimum of 3 years driving experience. Secondary international drivers of 18 years and over are permitted at a rate of $10 CUC per contract. Secondary drivers of 21 years and over who are Cuban Nationals are permitted at a rate of $30 CUC per contract.

Cars rented with professional driver from VIA 40.00 CUC per day extra with VIA paying the meals and accommodation for the driver. Cars rented with professional driver from VIA 20 CUC per day extra with client paying meals and accommodation for the driver. For trips outside the province the client must always assume the expenses of feeding and accomodating the driver.
