Cayo Levisa/Maria La Gorda Diving Package (Toronto/Montreal originating)

Cayo Levisa is home to one of the most beautiful and pristine diving locations in Cuba. This area, which is formed on a coral reef, boasts 23 outstanding dive sites, which range from 10-35 meters in depth. A little further west, we find the region of Maria La Gorda, where you will encounter the best diving in Cuba, among the best in the Caribbean, which is also designated a "World Biosphere Reserve" by UNESCO. The coral formations, sponges, caves, tunnels and walls in this unique vicinity are breathtaking. Throughout the year there is superior visibility which averages from 70 to 80 feet of clarity. In both of these impressive diving areas divers can expect to see a variety of tropical fish, interesting sea beds, various types of corals, manta rays, sting rays, crabs, lobsters, barracuda, snappers, grouper, eals and many more marine inhabitants. Come and experience "Cuba's Hidden Treasures...Ancient rum bottles, pirates, Spanish galleons, underwater life, nature, pristine waters mixed with lots of Latin rhythms which help make Cuba a unique diving destination. The beauty of Cuba emanates from the deep.

Day 1:Arrive in Havana from Toronto or Montreal. Transfer to hotel Marina Hemingway for accommodation.

Day 2:Breakfast at hotel. Depart to Palma Rubia for a 25 minute transfer by ferry to Cayo Levisa, an island located north of Vinales and Pinar del Rio. Accomodation at the bungalows of the village hotel, Horizontes Cayo Levisa (all meals included).

Day 3:Enjoy diving in Cayo Levisa.

Day 4:Breakfast at hotel. Depart to Maria La Gorda International Diving Centre located in Corrientes Cape in the westernmost area of Cuba. Enroute travel the countryside of Pinar del Rio, the Vinales Valley and Sierra del Rosario - declared by UNESCO a World Biosphere Reserve. Stop for lunch in Vinales by the Prehistoric Wall. Arrival and accomodation in Villa Maria la Gorda. (all meals included)

Days 5 & 6:Enjoy diving at Maria la Gorda

Day 7:Breakfast at hotel. Enjoy the morning for one last dive before departing to Havana. Lunch and depart to Havana for accomodation and dinner at Hotel Plaza. Free evening to explore the sights and sounds of Havana.

Day 8:Breakfast at hotel. Depart to Havana Airport for your return journey to Toronto or Montreal.

IMPORTANT: Tour will operate as long as we have 4 participants for that date. Divers must be certified and present a valid diving certificate or license. Diving schedule is flexible and can be coordinated locally with the Diving Centers. There will be no make up dives due to weather conditions or illness.

INCLUDED: Flights, transfers and specialized assistance. All hotels and meal plans as specified. 2 dives in Cayo Levisa and 6 dives in Maria la Gorda. Boat trips to/from diving locations. Dive master. Tanks and Weights.

NOT INCLUDED: Diving equipment. Transportation related fees (taxes) and Cuban tourist card fees $134.70 (paid in Canada).
