Ernest Hemmingway’s old haunt in the 1930’s in Havana. Tourists can visit his fifth floor room where he wrote "A Farewell to Arms" and "For Whom The Bell Tolls" and which is now a museum of Hemingway memorabilia. Ideally located in the centre of the restored area of Old Havana, this beautifully restored (even down to the pink façade) hotel offers elegance in all of its rooms. The hotel retains its 1930's atmosphere with the antique Otis metal-cage elevator, lobby made entirely of wood and the original marble staircase. The air-conditions bedrooms are small but comfortable with private bath, minibar, national and international telephone access, safety deposit box and satellite TV. It has a good restaurant on the sixth floor and a café-bar on the first floor.
