Built in the 1950's by Batista's brother, this six-story hotel is the best hotel in Central Cuba. Well situated on the peninsula next to the Palacio de Valle. A big hotel with modern facilities including a nightclub, saltwater swimming pool, and regular cabaret acts. Its rooms and blaconies offer good views of the bay and the city. The hotel was formerly a deluxe gambling joint frequented by high rollers from Havana and Miami.
