2 Holguin –Baracoa: After breakfast discover Holguin’s parks and neighborhoods during a walking tour of the city, followed by a trip to Cayo Saetia, home to one of Cuba’s most beautiful beaches, and a jeep safari to admire the island’s wildlife. 3 Baracoa: After breakfast, depart for a boat tour on the Toa, Cuba’s longest river, to discover the local flora and fauna. In the afternoon, enjoy a picnic lunch, then go hiking up the famous El Yunque Mountain. Overnight in Baracoa (B/L/D)

  4 Baracoa-Santiago de Cuba: After breakfast, travel to Santiago de Cuba on a famous scenic route. Upon arrival, begin exploring Cuba’s most musical town rich in Spanish and African influences, at the center of the Cuban revolution. Lunch in a local restaurant. 5 Santiago de Cuba –Sierra Maestra: After breakfast, depart for the Sierra Maestra Mountains, where Fidel Castro planned the revolution. While there, you’ll get to swim at the foot of a waterfall and explore one the former rebel bases. Picnic lunch in the green surroundings of the Sierra Maestra. Overnight in Sierra Maestra (B/L/D)

6 Sierra Maestra: After breakfast, enjoy the peacefulness and tranquility of the Sierra Maestra Mountains while discovering the flora and fauna on a nature hike. (B/L/D)

7 Sierra Maestra- Bayamo: After breakfast depart for the town of Bayamo, named after the boat that brought revolutionaries over in 1956. Discover the cradle of nationalism and origin of political revolts. Lunch in local restaurant. Overnight in Bayamo. (B/L/D)

8 Bayamo-Holguin-Toronto: After breakfast, return to Holguin for your flight home or extend your stay at one of our oceanfront resorts. (B)
