This tourist complex is on the outskirts of the capital and is part of the sports facilities built in 1991 for the Pan-American Games. It is close to Santa Maria beach, in the fishing village of Cojimar, the setting of Hemingway’s novel The Old Man and the Sea. It consists of a hotel and two apartment hotels, both just steps from the beach. 81 air-conditioned rooms with radio, telephone, and color TV. Facilities include restaurant, lobby bar, snack bar, swimming pool, meeting hall, video hall, shops and disco dancing. Excellent gym, stress and weight treatments, good massages, body therapies.
